Apple PieIngredients
DirectionsPeel and slice apples. Cover with lemon juice to keep from browning. Drain off excess juice. Mix apple pieces with tapioca, white and brown sugar, and spices. Pour into pie crust. Dot apples with butter. Cover with top crust. Cut crust even with edge of pan with a sharp knife. Use fingers to crimp edges. Brush top of crust with melted butter. Bake in a 450° oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°. Bake until done, 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool before serving. |
