Ground Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

2 T oil
½ tsp. salt
½ C chopped green onions
½ C chopped mushrooms
2 T lemon juice
1 pound lean ground beef

½ C beef broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard
2 tsp. corn starch
1 C sour cream
½ package egg noodles, cooked

Directions

Heat oil with salt in wok.  Add green onions and mushrooms.  Stir-fry over high heat for 1 minute.  Remove, sprinkle with lemon juice and set aside.

Add ground beef to wok and stir-fry until no longer pink.  Drain excess fat.  Add broth and stir in green onions and mushrooms.  Mix in Worcestershire sauce and mustard.

Cover and steam for 30 seconds.  Lower heat.  Stir corn starch into sour cream then add to mixture in wok.  Cook, stirring until hot.  Do not allow to boil after adding sour cream!  Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve over hot cooked noodles.
