Spicy Fish FilletsIngredients
DirectionsIn a shallow dish combine flour, cormeal, chili powder, cayenne, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dip fish into flour mixture to coat. In a large skillet heat half the butter and half the oil. Add half the fish to the skillet in a single layer. Fry over medium heat till fish is done and and caoting is golden brown, turning once (about 3 minutes each side). Remove fish from skillet and drin on paper towels. Repeat with remaining butter, oil, and fish. Makes 6 servings. |
